Stallone was an actor, writer and director who was born the 6th of July 1946 in New York City. The day of his birth, Stallone's trademark smile resulted from a forceps accident. The nerve of his head was damaged in the accident, which also left him with the ability to speak with a slur. Stallone had a difficult childhood. Stallone, along with Frank his older brother were both adversely affected as children by the conflicting relations between their parents which ended up in divorce. Stallone was placed in foster care during a portion of his childhood. Stallone at the age of five years oldwhen he took his family with him to Washington, D.C., which is where his father began his own company of beauty salons. Stallone was a resident of Maryland and was living with his father after 1957, when the couple divorced. He had a difficult time academically as well as emotionally as he was forced to drop out of some schools.
