Elizabeth Gillies
Gillies Acting career began at the age of 12, when she started going to casting opportunities in the local community. She quickly began appearing in commercials for companies like Virgin Mobile. Gillies made her debut on television in a performance as a recurring character in the three seasons of The Black Donnellys. Gillies' statement states that she was never allowed to see the show as a whole because her parents believed that it wasn't appropriate to her age at the time. Her roles were minor in The Clique as well as Harold and also Locker 514. She was cast in that summer to play Lucy as well as Ariana Grande, her co-star in Victorious, for Jason Robert Brown's musical 13. The following year was when the Broadway adaptation of 13 released, and it became the first Broadway show with a cast made entirely up of teenagers. The two most popular songs she sang, "Opportunity", and "It could not be real" and "It can't be true" were later followed by minor roles on songs like "Hey Kendra", "Getting Ready", and the title song. Gillies worked with the team up until January 4, 2009.
