Anita Briem hails from Iceland. Anita Breim is an actress from Iceland. Briem's acting journey began in the National Theater Iceland when she was just 9 years old. She participated as a child in a variety of TV and radio shows, plays and productions throughout Iceland. Briem was a child performer in the age of 16 when she moved to London. She participated in an adaptation of Lenin and the Count of Monte Cristo, performed in Love by The New End Theater. Briem received his degree from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 1921 and received the John Barton Prize and a Diploma in Drama. The actor performed in a number of productions at RADA which included The Cherry Garden, by Anton Chekhov, and Bernarda Alba's house, from Federico Garcia Lorca.
